Danny Alexander defends forced work plan

Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander has defended plans to force those on Jobseekers' Allowance to do unpaid work, after criticism from the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Mr Alexander told the BBC's Politics Show the idea was not to "punish or humiliate" but to get people back into the habit of working.
