Whitehall spending figures above £25,000 released
Details of all Whitehall spending above £25,000 and some below that threshold have been released as part of a bid by the coalition government to improve transparency.
Ministers says tax payers have the right to know how their money is being spent although they admit some of the data published may be uncomfortable - such as the team building exercises making chocolates and the purchase of designer handbags.
