Budget: Blears and Beckett on Labour spending, tax and cuts

It has been called the "budget for growth" as the government tries to shift the focus away from cuts.

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has no plans to outline explicit figures on tax and spending but should Labour be putting forward its own budget plans?

David Thompson got the opposing views of former cabinet member Hazel Blears and ex-deputy party leader Margaret Beckett, while pollster Deborah Mattinson canvassed the views of the public.
