Lord John Reid: 'AV a rejected system around the world'
A referendum on 5 May will ask UK voters whether they want to change how MPs are elected in Westminster general elections, moving from the first-past-the-post-system to the alternative vote system.
Politicians have putting the arguments for and against the change.
Labour former Home Secretary John Reid said the alternative vote system had been "rejected as a system for choosing governments by almost every country in the world".
