Vote 2011: Clegg pledges louder Lib Dems in coalition

Nick Clegg has said the Liberal Democrats must be more assertive in their coalition with the Conservatives, and that they will not support the NHS revamp unless he is happy with it.

Following heavy losses in the UK's local elections, he said his party would do more to show itself as "a moderating influence on the Conservatives".
