Lib Dems will not stand in shadow of Tories, says Clegg
The Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has marked the anniversary of the formation of the coalition government with a speech to Liberal Democrats, in which he said the party would become a louder voice.
His handling of the coalition government has come in for criticism after a poor showing by the Lib Dems in the local and national elections last week.
Mr Clegg said in the next phase of the coalition both parties would be clearer in their identities.
