Ed Miliband warns children face a bleak future

Children face a bleak future of rising debt, fewer jobs and little prospect of owning their own homes until they hit middle age, according to Labour leader Ed Miliband.

In a speech at the Royal Festival Hall in London Mr Miliband will criticise the decisions to raise tuition fees and argue that too little help is on offer for first-time buyers.

He told the BBC that unemployment and house-building needed to be tackled urgently.
