Obama "focused" on defeating al-Qaeda
The UK and US has "arrived at a pivotal moment" following global recession and years of conflict, President Obama has told politicians gathered at Westminster Hall.
With operations winding down in Afghanistan and Iraq, "our fight is focused on defeating al-Qaeda and its extremist allies', he said.
Mr Obama got a standing ovation as he became the first US President to address both Houses of Parliament, as part of his state visit to the UK.
