Miliband cabinet selection: Labour MP disagrees

Labour MP, Jeremy Corbyn has told BBC News he believes Labour Leader Ed Miliband's plans to change the way the party picks its shadow cabinet are "wrong".

At the moment the party's MPs elect the Labour frontbench.

Miliband wants to change the process so that he can have more control over who is selected.

Jeremy Corbyn says "It seems to fly in the face of the general direction of travel in our society which is for greater accountability and democracy."

The change would have to be approved at the party conference this autumn.
