Riot summit for social networks

The home secretary will meet police officers and representatives from social networks on Thursday to discuss how to stop people using websites to plot violent events.

After this month's riots in England, David Cameron said police may need extra power to curb the use of Facebook and Twitter and services such as Blackberry Messenger.
