Huhne inspects energy efficient house
Birmingham City Council, the country's largest provider of social housing, has been praised for its work making homes more energy efficient, by Energy and Climate Change Secretary Chris Huhne.
Emma Lewis Jones showed the minister and his entourage around her home in Northfield, Birmingham, which has benefited from the council's energy efficiency drive.
Addressing the Lib Dem conference on Tuesday, Mr Huhne will say he is determined to get tough with the six biggest energy companies, and to make it easier for people to spot cheaper deals and switch providers.
