David Cameron: 'We can turn UK around'
The UK is not doomed to "certain decline" and there is real cause for optimism about the future, David Cameron is preparing to say.
In a speech to the Tory conference, the prime minister will acknowledge this is an "anxious time" for many people.
But he will attempt to reassure party activists and the country at large that the economy can be fixed.
