Keith Vaz: Border force case is 'extraordinary'
An investigation is been carried out into claims that passport checks for non-EU nationals were dropped this summer.
It is alleged staff were told to relax identity checks on non-EU nationals.
The head of the UK border force Brodie Clark has been suspended by the Home Office.
Labour MP Keith Vaz, who chairs the Home Affairs Select Committee, has described it as 'extraordinary'.
He said if the government did not fully investigate the affair, then his committee would demand an inquiry.
