Labour's Liam Byrne: Young jobless paying 'brutal price'
New figures have shown that youth unemployment has reached a record high of more than one million.
According to the Office for National Statistics, the total number of unemployed has increased by 129,000 between July and September, to just over 2.6 million.
Shadow Secretary for Work and Pensions Liam Byrne said young people are paying the ''brutal price'' of government policies.
