MPs hear Cameron defend EU veto

The prime minister has gone before MPs to defend his use of a veto against a new European Union treaty.

MPs packed the Commons to hear David Cameron explain why he thought such a treaty would not be in Britain's interests.

Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, accused Mr Cameron of leaving Britain with no voice in Europe.
