MPs 'shocked' by border check relaxations
Mps say a "highly troubling" breakdown of communication between officials led to border controls being relaxed too often last year.
The head of the UK border force resigned over the affair but the Commons home affairs committee is blaming senior staff at the Home Office for a "lack of supervision".
Keith Vaz, who chairs the committee, said there needs to be a root and branch investigation into what the UK Boarder Agency is doing.
