Church of England General Synod divided on gay marriages
The Church of England's General Synod will debate gay "marriages" after 100 priests have signed a letter demanding the right to conduct them in their churches.
Last year, the government ended a ban on their use for gay civil ceremonies - and is to consult about how to move further in England and Wales.
Giles Dilnot spoke to Konditor & Cook managing director Paul Cons, Stonewall chief executive Ben Summerskill and Conservative MP Stuart Andrew.
