Jeremy Hunt: Football can tackle homophobia in society
The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Jeremy Hunt has told BBC Radio 5 live Breakfast that more needs to be done to tackle racism and homophobia in football.
He said that footballers should be encouraged to come out as gay, adding that football could reach parts of society that government could not.
Mr Hunt is meeting with David Cameron to discuss how to make the game more inclusive.
