Greece: Katerina Vrana on economic crisis and austerity
Greek comic Katerina Vrana has said stand-up comedy in her homeland is going through a boom as one way of getting through the financial crisis.
But she also described utility bills rising by 50%, people going through bins for food and withdrawing money from banks, rising crime and suicide rates, and some families even putting their children into orphanages as they cannot cope.
