Israel and Iran tension: Douglas Murray and Ben Wallace
An Israeli attack on Iran was "inevitable", said Douglas Murray of the Henry Jackson Society as he spoke about the "most volatile region in the world".
But the Conservative MP Ben Wallace, who chairs the British-Iranian All-Party Parliamentary Group, said Israel would only act with the US and western nations. He said tensions in the Middle East were not "just about Israel", but the rivalry between Sunni and Shias.
They spoke after Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made his final address to the UN General Assembly, where he accused the West of nuclear intimidation. His speech was boycotted by the United States and Israel.
