Press regulation and Savile: Neil Wallis and Anne Diamond
Broadcaster Anne Diamond claimed self-regulation of newspapers had not worked and Britain needed a printed press that had "integrity".
But Neil Wallis, former News of the World deputy and executive editor, said it was the press that uncovered issues such as MPs' expenses, and not the broadcast media.
They debated press regulation after the Leveson Inquiry, and how that may affect future investigations into the activities of politicians and celebrities.
The debate followed a Sunday Politics film about Jimmy Savile allegations.
