Wind farm and energy: Andrew George and Michael Fallon
Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George said the government would still meet its renewable energy target, which could see another 4,000 wind farms built.
Conservative Business Minister Michael Fallon said there were no specific targets for each of the forms of renewable energy, and it was not for the government to determine the location of wind farms.
Labour's Owen Smith said he was "none the wiser" on coalition policy for wind farms and renewable energy.
Their debate came after Tory energy minister John Hayes told newspapers the UK was "peppered" with wind farms and "enough is enough". But the prime minister later told the House of Commons there had been no change in policy.
