Nick Clegg: 'Liberal Democrats are a party of change'
The Liberal Democrats are no longer a party of protest but are instead a party of government, leader Nick Clegg has told their spring conference in Brighton.
In his speech, he said the party's success in holding Eastleigh in a recent by-election meant it had a future in government.
The Lib Dem leader said the party had retained its distinct identity, despite being in coalition with the Conservatives.
