Nick Clegg closes Syria debate
Nick Clegg has closed the Commons debate on Syria which has taken place ahead of a vote on the UK's response to a chemical attack near Damascus.
MPs vote on the "principle" of launching military action against President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
The Deputy Prime Minister told MPs: "Our motion is very tightly defined, the sole aim is to relieve humanitarian suffering by deterring and disrupting the further use of chemical weapons."
