MEP Mike Nattrass on leaving UKIP and Farage
An MEP who left UKIP after not being selected as a candidate for the European elections next year claimed the "whole thing is gerrymandered".
Mike Nattrass said Nigel Farage was a "great front man", but added that "you can't have a one-man party making all the rules."
Mr Nattrass said he had been in the party since the 1990s, but faced a selection panel and members who "had no idea who I was", but added: "If the local members had that vote, I would still be top of the poll in the West Midlands."
Andrew Neil also asked the MEP, now sitting as an independent, about rumours of him joining the English Democrats, after the confusion surrounding a press release.
