Labour accuses government of energy 'excuses'

Labour's shadow energy secretary Caroline Flint has said that Energy Secretary Ed Davey has made "excuses" about energy prices.

Mr Davey has promised to cut the time it takes to switch energy supplier to improve competition and drive down prices.

But Ms Flint said: "Even the cheapest tariff in a rigged market still won't be a good deal".
