Cameron: Sri Lanka war crimes allegations 'need investigating'

David Cameron has defended his decision to attend the Commonwealth summit in Sri Lanka despite calls to boycott the meeting over alleged war crimes in the country.

The prime minister said there were "legitimate accusations of war crimes" against the Sri Lankan regime but that his visit would highlight concerns.
