Lord Rennard suspended by Liberal Democrats
The Lib Dems have suspended Lord Rennard after he refused to apologise over sexual harassment claims.
It means the ex-chief executive cannot represent the party in the House of Lords pending disciplinary proceedings.
Lord Rennard said he felt "regret" if he had unintentionally caused any women "hurt, embarrassment or upset" but he would not formally apologise.
James Landale reports.
