Lawrence undercover police work goes to public inquiry

The Home Secretary has announced there will be a public inquiry into the Stephen Lawrence investigation.

Speaking to the House of Commons, Theresa May said that the greatest possible scrutiny was now needed into what had taken place.

The review by Mark Ellison QC found "reasonable grounds" to suspect corruption by former Det Sgt John Davidson.
