BBC News report from 1992

The BBC television news report from the day in 1992 when Jonathan Cohen, David Reed, and Nicholas Wells, all senior executives of County NatWest, and Martin Gibbs, a stockbroker and former director of UBS Phillips and Drew, had their suspended jail sentences overturned.

The Appeal Court ruled that due to the length of the trial and the complexity of the subject matter the jury could not have reached a fair verdict.
