Remembering Tony Benn: Shirley Williams and Clare Short

Shirley Williams said she was a close friend of Tony Benn in the 1960s and described how they drifted apart over policy, while Clare Short recalled how he cried when his son became a junior minister.

The two former front bench Labour MPs spoke to Andrew Neil about their memories of Mr Benn, who has died at the age of 88.
