Pfizer's AstraZeneca bid: Labour calls for deal probe
Labour leader Ed Miliband has said there needs to be an independent assessment of whether a takeover of the British drug company AstraZeneca by its US rival Pfizer is in the country's national interest.
No 10 has denied Labour claims it is acting as a "cheerleader" for the deal, saying it is fighting for British jobs and British science.
