Peer suspended from House of Lords

Lord Hanningfield has been ordered to repay £3,300 expenses and suspended from the Lords until end of current Parliament

The former leader of Essex County Council was investigated after the Daily Mirror claimed that he was clocking in in order to claim his daily allowance of £300 and then leaving straight away.
