Hammond: EU 'status quo not acceptable'

Philip Hammond has said his appointment as Foreign Secretary reflects a need for reform in European politics.

Talking to Andrew Marr, Mr Hammond said his job now was to "pursue renegotiation" over Europe before any referendum, but he had not changed his mind as to what constituted a "Europe that can work for Britain".
