Rival parties' anger at TV debate offer to Nigel Farage
UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage has been invited to take part in a TV debate with David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg ahead of next year's general election.
The other TV debates would be a head-to-head between just the Conservative and Labour leaders, and one with them and the Liberal Democrat leader.
Questions have been raised over the decision to exclude smaller parties with the SNP, the Green Party and Plaid Cymru all criticising the proposals.
James Landale reports.
