Cats 'not answer to Parliament's rodent problem'
Conservative MP Anne McIntosh asked whether a cat could be adopted by the House of Commons to control the escalating rodent problem.
In reply John Thurso, from the House of Commons commission, said that a "herd of cats" would be needed to control the rodent problem, and that as his chief whip had noted, "herding cats" was not easy.
