Justin Tomlinson on Sadiq Khan mobile phone car claims
A former transport minister accused of using a mobile phone while driving has kept a low profile and not spoken to the media since grainy photographs were published online.
Sadiq Khan, the shadow justice secretary who was named as 2014 National Road Safety Campaigner of the Year, has been reported to police by a Tory MP.
Justin Tomlinson said he was "very angry" about the images, compounded by Mr Khan's failure to explain himself or apologise.
The Conservative MP told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics that local and national media cannot get hold of him for a response: "The irony is he's now switched his phone off."
