BBC Rewind: Neil Hamilton loses Tatton

Conservative MP Neil Hamilton came into the 1997 general election under a cloud of accusations as part of the cash-for-questions scandal. Former BBC correspondent Martin Bell ran against him in Tatton as an independent on an anti-corruption platform, with Labour and Liberal Democrat candidates standing down, and won by a large majority.
