Doyle: Labour bid for aggravated offence against forces
Labour aims to bring in powers to outlaw discrimination against members of the armed forces, and make a "specific aggravated offence" of attacking those in uniform.
Shadow defence minister Gemma Doyle said "nobody should be targeted because they are a member of the armed forces".
She told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics about cases of discrimination against members of the armed forces.
A bill was put before the Commons by Labour MP Thomas Docherty on Tuesday.
