TV election debates: Greens, SNP and Plaid demands

The Greens, Scottish Nationalists and Plaid Cymru have joined forces to demand they are included in the leaders debates ahead of the 2015 general election.

They wrote to the BBC on Monday to say the broadcaster had a duty to widen the debates and include more political parties.

The BBC, Sky, ITN and Channel Four have tabled plans to share three debates with between three and five leaders in each live on-air contest.

in a Daily Politics film, Adam Fleming looks into the demands and wishes of the parties.
