Nigel Mills MP apologises for playing Candy Crush during committee

Conservative MP Nigel Mills has apologised after being caught playing internet game Candy Crush during a Work and Pensions Committee session.

Pictures were published in the Sun of the MP playing the game on his tablet during a meeting of the committee last Monday.

"I apologise unreservedly for my behaviour at the committee meeting and realise it fell short of what is expected of a Member of Parliament. I guarantee it will not happen again,'' he said in a statement.
