Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls: 'We will toughen tax law'

The Shadow Chancellor has said a Labour government would crack down on tax evasion and "toughen the law" so that HM Revenue & Customs has the resources to collect monies owed.

Speaking to the BBC's Andrew Marr, Ed Balls said there should be a distinction between families planning their tax and people who actively avoid paying their fair share by "setting up false structures" or going to live in Switzerland.
