Live: Ed Balls speech on public spending

Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls is setting out his party's analysis of how Conservative plans would affect public spending in a speech in London.

Mr Balls is expected to say that a Tory win in May's general election would mean "extreme" and "unprecedented" public spending cuts.

It comes less than two weeks before Chancellor George Osborne presents his final budget of this Parliament.
