Boris Johnson: Cameron comments 'obvious and common sense'

David Cameron has told the BBC that he would not serve a third term as prime minister if the Conservatives were re-elected into government.

Labour have accused the PM of arrogance, while the Lib Dems called him presumptuous.

Mr Cameron tipped Theresa May, George Osborne and Boris Johnson as possible successors.
