Cameron says no VAT increase if Conservatives re-elected

David Cameron has said there will be no increase in VAT if the Conservatives win the general election.

Mr Miliband said "nobody would believe" Mr Cameron's pledge, because his government had raised VAT in 2010.

The prime minister made the announcement during the last Prime Minister's Questions of this parliament.
