Scotland's political parties begin official campaign

Opinion surveys are suggesting unprecedented gains for the Scottish National Party in the upcoming general election and leader Nicola Sturgeon could find her party in a position of great influence after 7 May.

Meanwhile Gordon Brown, who is standing down as an MP, has been campaigning for Labour in Glasgow.
