Justin Welby: Out-welling of poison and hatred since Brexit
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has said the EU referendum campaign has led to an "out-welling of poison and hatred" in the UK.
He said it was important for politicians on both sides of the campaign and society as a whole to challenge the attacks, the xenophobia and the racism "that seemed to have been felt to be acceptable at least for a while".
