David Cameron: 'I was the future once'

David Cameron has enjoyed a final bitter-sweet moment in the limelight, appearing for the last time at Prime Minister's Questions.

It was his last chance to offer his thoughts before stepping down after six years in charge of the country, and 11 years in charge of the Conservative party.

He bowed out telling MPs: "I was the future once".
