The new Prime Minister, Theresa May, is due to move in to her new home at Downing Street this weekend, but what can she expect from her new crib?
Jack Brown is Researcher in Residence at Number 10, and the Policy Institute at King's College London and said any changes made to the house depend "hugely" on the Prime Minister.
He told BBC Radio 5 live that Margaret Thatcher thought Number 10 was "a bit dowdy" when she first moved in, so had "portraits and busts of prominent scientists" brought in to the building.
