Steve Hilton on David Cameron resignation honours list

David Cameron's former aide, Steve Hilton has criticised the former prime minister over his resignation honours list.

Steve Hilton said it was "not OK" for politicians to appoint people to the legislature, and that big donors "shouldn't have undue influence over political and policy decisions".

Mr Hilton told Today presenter Justin Webb he was "disappointed" that despite all the talk by people on both sides of the political divide, we are "still stuck with an antiquated and undemocratic system".
